Job Description
As a developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Statamic CMS platform. You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to create engaging and dynamic digital experiences for our clients and internal projects. Your role will involve implementing custom themes, plugins, and modules, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across various devices and platforms. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Responsibilities
Develop and customize themes, plugins, and modules using the Statamic CMS, Webflow and WordPress
Write and maintain scalable, efficient front-end code for marketing websites, following design mock-ups
Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
Implement security and data protection measures
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues reported by users or QA teams
Maintain code integrity and organization
Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Help our Project Manager scope and estimate work
Manage hosting and domain renewals for our clients' websites
Deploy the changes by using Ploi or Deploybot
Other Responsibilities
Share expertise through code reviews, blog posts and internal presentations
Research and recommend new tools, processes and best practices
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a front-end developer
Preference to Canadian candidates
A strong portfolio of coded work
Solid understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Experience using Git version control software
Experience managing hosting environments and domain configurations.
Building with CMS software such as Statamic
Working with Adobe XD files
Strong understanding of responsive design principles
Eye for design, especially typography and UI details
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
